GENERAL INFORMATION & SCHOOL POLICIES
PARKING:
Our parking lot and the entrance to Duende Dance Studio/Deuxmensions Dance is located behind the building.
GENERAL SCHOOL POLICIES:

No beverages allowed in the building, other than water

No smoking anywhere on school grounds

NOISE POLICY:
We welcome families to stay in the lobby during class, but ask that the noise level be kept to a minimum. Please silence electronic devices. The lobby area shares space with Duende's studio space. Please be respectful of classes and private lessons in session
COMMUNICATION
We strive to get important news out to you in a variety of methods. We will post the most current and relevant information on our Facebook page. Most of our communication is done via email and text message, so please be sure we have your updated contacted information on file.
CLASSROOM POLICIES

We try out best to begin all classes ON TIME.

Visitors are not allowed in the classroom other than
Bring a Friend weeks, or by special arrangement.

Food and gum are not allowed in the studios,
but may be eaten in the lobby area.

No street shoes allowed on studio floors

No hanging on the ballet barres or touching the mirrors
TARDINESS POLICY
The beginning barre and warm-up exercises are the most important part of class. Muscles not properly warmed up are susceptible to injury. Students arriving more than 15 minutes late may be asked to observe for the day.
ABSENCES AND MAKE-UP CLASS POLICY
If a student must miss a class, it is recommended they do a make-up class as close to the missed class as possible. Please check with your child's instructor for the most appropriate make-up class and time.
CLASS ATTENDANCE AND CLASS CANCELLATION POLICY
If ever there is only one student in attendance, we reserve the right to cancel class that day, or to teach a half hour private lesson. Occasionally, classes need to be cancelled for other reasons. Any cancelled class is eligible for a make-up class.
CLASS WITHDRAWAL POLICY
Monthly tuition is NON-REFUNDABLE after the first day of each month. Consideration will be taken in extreme or special circumstances and is done so at the discretion of the school director.
SNOW DAY POLICY
We tend to follow the same procedure as the St. Louis Park, Minneapolis and Edina public schools. However, we recommend you confirm whether your dancer has class before traveling to the studio. In the event of inclement weather after school hours, or on a weekend, you can find cancellation information on our Facebook page. We also text and email all families affected by class cancellations. Final decisions are made by 3:00pm on weekdays, and 8:00am on weekends.
